Has Murray got Federer's number, who knows? He has a 6-2 winning record against the Swiss, but a Grand Slam final is a different kettle of fish altogether.
After last nights epic against Wawrinka Andy Murray faces Ferrero in the 1/4 finals on Wednesday! This should be a less tough challenge than the last match!
Andy beat him easily at the Queens club 3 weeks ago! Andy was a totaly different class but its sport so who knows!
I wish i could have got a jist of the atmosphere at centre court last night but being deaf, you cant sense the buzz unless youre there in the arena!!
I do believe Murray is our best chance since Fred Perry of a Brit winning Wimbledon! Maybe the fact he is wearing the Fred Perry brand of sports wear is an omen!!
What ever happens win or lose he has been impressive in the 3 matches so far.
Hes shown what he is capable of and even then we know he can step it up another gear or two!
When a Brit is doing well it lifts the nation! But when they falter the people just go all negative again!!
As footy fans sing "You only sing when youre winning"
That sums up the british attitude to sport!
What ever happens we have to be proud as he is the wworld number three and we all know one day he can hit number one!! Hes only young and can only improve more.
Having the roof on centre court last night added more electricity to the match! Some day i will go to Wimbledon tho i am not a massive tennis fan it must be a great buzz in the grounds on match days!!
Was good to see Laura Robson starting her defence of the girls title so impressivly!! Definatly a star for the future. Only hitting mid-teens but you can see she may be something special!
Lets hope for no more rain delays so all games can be done on time!
