Sick people in this world!!

"A 15-year-old boy beat a toddler causing fatal injuries while babysitting, a court has been told.
Demi Mahon, two, was found with 69 injuries, including a bite, at a home in Eccles, Salford, last July. She died at Hope Hospital.
The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, denies murder. The defence will say he suffered an abnormality of mind which impaired his responsibility!!!" (BBC website).

"A Polish family including a four-year-old boy have left their County Tyrone home following a spate of hate crime attacks in the Moygashel area.
Windows in the homes of Polish and Lithuanian families were broken and two cars were damaged over the weekend. " (BBC Northern Ireland)

It was discovered on the Buncrana Road at about 1600 BST on Monday.
Officers are trying to establish who the man is and how he died, a police spokesman said. "

The man scaled the 200ft structure shortly after 1830 BST on Monday.

1941: Hitler invades the Soviet UnionGerman forces have invaded the Soviet Union.
In a pre-dawn offensive, German troops pushed into the USSR from the south and west, with a third force making their way from the north towards Leningrad.
At 0500 GMT, an hour after the invasion began, the Nazi Minister for Propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, went on national radio to read a proclamation by Adolf Hitler promising that the mobilisation of the German army would be the "greatest the world has ever seen".


1981: Chapman pleads guilty to Lennon murderA man has pleaded guilty to shooting dead former Beatle John Lennon in New York.
The court heard Mark Chapman dramatically change his plea to admit responsibility for the murder, saying God had told him to do so.
Even his own defence team were taken by surprise by the decision, and his lawyer has asked the judge to examine his client to ensure he is mentally fit to stand trial.


2001: Jamie Bulgers killers to be releasedThe killers of toddler James Bulger will be released, eight years after they were jailed for a crime which shocked the nation.
Home Secretary David Blunkett confirmed to the House of Commons that Jon Venables and Robert Thompson would be allowed to go free on a "life licence".
